Our Story
Hayden began in Dundee as a small, sole-trader business, taking on all types of joinery work. After a couple of successful years, and a move through to Glasgow, the business began to evolve. Lucy joined the team as a designer, and together we rebranded as Robb Bespoke Builds, a name that better reflected our vision and the direction we were taking. Today, our focus is solely on fitted furniture, from wardrobes and under-stair storage to living room cabinetry and more. Each piece is designed with care, crafted in our workshop, and finished to the highest standard. We pride ourselves on having an eye for detail and work hard to ensure everything we make is both beautiful and built to last. We love what we do, and our goal is simple: to create bespoke furniture that’s not only functional, but feels completely at home in your space.
HOW WE WORK
A quick overview of what you can expect when working with us. While every fitted furniture project is unique, our process follows these 8 clear stages, designed to keep things simple, collaborative, and stress-free
INITIAL ENQUIRY
Once we receive your enquiry, we’ll ask for a few details: the type of space you’re working with, your goals, and any inspiration photos you may have. From there, we’ll arrange a design visit at a time that suits you.
DESIGN CONSULTATION
This is where we’ll explore your storage needs, style preferences and get a feel of the space we’re working with. We like to do this in person, so we can share ideas and guide you through the process. Don’t worry if you don’t quite know what you want, we’re here to help!
2D DRAWINGS
Following your consultation, we’ll create 2D drawings to visualise your ideas and make sure we’re aligned on design and layout. Once approved, we’ll move forward with your quote.
QUOTE
You’ll receive a clear, detailed quote covering every aspect of the project, no hidden costs! We’ll also provide an estimated timeframe for completion. To confirm your booking, we will ask for a 10% deposit.
CAD DRAWINGS
Once your deposit is paid, our designer will start working on the CAD drawings for the project. These serve as the plans for the build and are sent to you for approval before we move ahead.
PRE-BUILD MEASURE
Before work begins, we’ll arrange a Pre-Build Measure. This is when final measurments and details such as paint colour and handles are finalised. This typically takes 45 minutes to an hour. At this stage we will also ask for a 40% Pre-Build payment.
BUILD AND AIRLESS SPRAY
We will get to work on your project. Once built, it is carefully dismantled, spray-finished for a flawless result, and prepared for installation. While this is underway, we will be in touch to confirm your install date.
INSTALL
Depending on the size of the project, this usually takes between 1 to 3 days. We’ll ensure everything is finished to perfection, leaving you with beautifully fitted furniture, ready to enjoy. Upon completion the remaining 50% payment will be due.
READY TO BEGIN?
Whether your exploring ideas or ready to plan, we’re here to help.
Why Choose Us?
HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS
We believe that lasting furniture begins with the right foundations. That’s why we use furniture grade, moisture-resistant MDF for the majority of our projects. For moving parts, we use Blum hardware, backed by a lifetime guarantee from Blum themselves.
TAILORED
We don’t work with off-the-shelf units or pre set sizes. Every project is fully bespoke, designed to make the most of your space and your ideas. Whether you come to us with a folder full of inspiration photos or just a rough vision, we’ll work together to shape it into something perfectly suited to you. We welcome a challenge and love creating designs that are as unique as the homes they’re built for.
THOUGHTFUL DESIGN
Our in-house designer takes the time to understand your storage needs and how you use your space. Every layout is carefully considered to be both practical and visually balanced. If you’re not sure what will work best, we’ll guide you with suggestions and ideas to ensure your fitted furniture not only looks great but also makes everyday life easier
FLEXIBLITY
We understand that every home, and every project, is different. Our joiner brings not only skill but also an eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset to every build. From working around tricky angles to finding smart solutions for awkward spaces, we pride ourselves on overcoming challenges without ever compromising on quality.
